Our mission is to promote a culture among our clients intended to prevent
and control patient injuries, malpractice claims, and claims losses.
Everyone in the HSG Department of Risk Management and Patient Safety has a
medical background and we share our client's desire to provide the highest
quality of medical care possible. Our
focus therefore is to provide materials, resources, and educational programs
aimed first and foremost at the prevention of patient injuries.

publications cover emerging Risk
Management topics important to our client's practice.
- 24-Hour Adverse Outcome Hotline.
Gives our insured clients access to Risk Management assistance in the event of an adverse outcome.
- Group Educational Seminars.
Large-scale
educational programs provided throughout the state with open

- On-site risk assessments, evaluations, and programs. We can
provide facility-wide or department-specific risk assessments and educational programs tailored specifically to the needs of
the facility.
- Access to self-teach educational materials and other Risk
Management assets. PowerPoint
presentations delivered by the facility Risk Manager or education
director.
- Media Library. Available to our insured clients
providing important healthcare, risk management and patient safety
information.
- Physician Risk Management Credit Program. We
provide statewide educational programs and office practice surveys.
