Mr. Thompson serves as Senior Vice President-Risk Management & Patient Safety & Associate In-House Counsel for Healthcare Services Group. He has a diversified background in law, medicine, and healthcare risk management. He is a Radiology Technologist and practiced at several Georgia hospitals. Mr. Thompson earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia and a Bachelor's degree with honors from North Georgia State. He also graduated with honors from U.S. Army Radiology Technologist School and Avionics School. In Dec. 2006 he earned his Master of Business Administration from Lincoln University. | |||||||||||||

Ms. Hamilton serves as Senior Risk Management Consultant for Healthcare Services Group. Her many duties include loss control consultations for Missouri hospitals and educational programs for hospital personnel. Ms. Hamilton earned her BSN and MSN degrees from the University of Missouri. She was recognized by the Insurance Institute of America as an Associate in Risk Management in 1992 and acquired her certification in Healthcare Risk Management from ASHRM in 2000. Ms. Schaffner serves as Risk Management Consultant for HSG. Her background includes 30 years experience in clinical nursing, with 10 years as a Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist. She also has 10 years experience as a Patient Safety and Risk Manager for a large, multi hospital healthcare organization. Ms. Schaffner graduated from the University of Missouri with a BSN degree and received her MSN degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She earned her Master of Arts in Bioethics from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a member of the Missouri Center for Patient Safety's Hospital Advisory Committee. Ms. McCloud serves as Risk Management Consultant for HSG. She has a clinical background of 13 years in nursing, with ten years in a Coronary Intensive Care Unit. For the past two years, she has been the Director of Risk Management, Regulatory Compliance, Case Management, Patient Satisfaction/Customer Service and Quality Improvement in a Missouri community hospital. She earned her Associate Degree in Nursing from Missouri Southern State University and a BS degree in Business Management from William Woods University.
